Social and Emotional Learning Curricula for K12 scholars, staff, and communities. See WHY SEL below.
The MISSION at J•Has•Heart [JHASHEART] is “to create an empowering SEL ‘motivation-hour’ in 100 Elementary, Middle, and High Schools across the world by the year 2025, where K-12 scholars learn of the POWER in creating a habit to Think+Positive & Dream BIG; where scholars learn WHY SEL develops ‘self’- with a focus on self-awareness, self-belief, self-care, self-confidence, self-dignity, self-discipline, self-esteem, self-identity, self-love, self-happiness, self-motivation, and self-respect”. To successfully complete the mission, JHASHEART will implore a relentless attitude, belief, and commitment – fueled by positive and faithful intentions, and topped with massive action.
The VISION at JHASHEART is “to utilize our targeted and demographic-based Social and Emotional Learning [SEL] Curricula to empower scholars to master the 5 competencies – self-awareness, self-management, social-awareness, relationship skills, and responsible decision making. Through this, scholars will shape their minds to want & dream for & desire & claim & demand more. Scholars will believe in their ability to dominate. Scholars will develop a renewed attitude – a mindset where dreaming BIG is a necessity, and mediocrity is no more. And, scholars will in-turn educate the next generation, and the next, and the next; further proving one of our mantras that each one should teach one (#EachOneTeachOne)”.

At JHASHEART , Social and Emotional Learning [SEL] is the measured process through which a human being develops and effectively applies the chosen attitude, behavior, knowledge, and skills necessary to (1) think+positive, (2) understand and regulate emotions, (3) declare and achieve goals, (4) empathize and respect others, (5) seek and engage in positive relationships, and (6) consistently make constructive and responsible. SEL consists of five competencies – Self Awareness, Self Management, Social Awareness, Relationship Skills, and Responsible Decision Making. At JHASHEART, SEL involves a process of extracting from each of the competencies; it is a huge reason ‘Why SEL’ at JHASHEART has each title above.
JHasHeart’s “De-Stress 101” Workshop (1hr)
Scholars develop stress management techniques in 4 steps. Scholars across the USA are facing so many challenges – body shaming, low self esteem, fear of making friends, fear of being on social media, and the list goes on! In this workshop, we break down walls, and build them back with a 4-step stress management technique.
In this workshop, we define the words (1) ‘Think+Positive’ and ‘Dream BIG’, (2) re-live short stories of leaders who believed they CAN, (3) volunteer for team activities, (4) distribute prizes/gifts, and (5) empower scholars to BELIEVE in themselves.
Our Goal is to reduce the frequency in which scholars engage in disruptive behaviors. This anti-bullying workshop is an informative, self-reflecting, & educational 40-90min experience for scholars that experience bullying & harassment at their school or program.
JHASHEART takes goal setting to another level! We introduce our uniquely designed 5-step process to goal setting mastery. In this workshop, scholars are empowered to create, commit, and accomplish their personal and academic goals.
Stepping up to the plate is one thing, using the variables to hit a home run is another. In this workshop, SWBAT (1) be proactive about their life decisions, (2) set a short & long term goal, and (3) identify internal & external tools needed for their next step in life.
How do our students get more interested in STEM? – by access to opportunities. That is why in this workshop, we (1) build and actual website, (2) perform mock interviews, and (3) find internships available in the local area – including internships at JHASHEART.
Starting a business is said to be hard. We get wrapped up in ‘how will this work?’ and ‘do I have the money to get started?’, rather than implementing this 1-2-3 step strategy to START. This workshop helps students complete this 3 step strategy to entrepreneurship.
In this workshop series, SWBAT (1) design/update a r(v)esume, (2) understand industry keywords, (3) describe the do’s and dont’s to resume writing, (4) participate in mock interviews, (5) demonstrate what the “professional you” looks like.
Celebrate Black History Month, every month, with JHASHEART. In this workshops, scholars revisit the uncommon and unsung (s)heroes, have team discussions on their role in our current society, and commit to a call-to-action on what their future actions will be.
The word “remote” took on a new form during COVID. It was paired with in-school education, and invited a host of challenges for educators and scholars. Those challenges inspired JHASHEART to design new instructional concepts to thrive in this “Remote Culture”.
The mindset of each individual on a team can make the difference between championship or bust. In this speech, we shift an individuals mantra from “me personally” to “we win when we do this”. We mandate complete transformation through our short stories

Jabari was very open, supportive, flexible, and accommodating in regards to our students. Many of our students were really inspired. I have many students that are looking forward to more.
The session was AMAZING – I learned so much. He really took us through a 5-Step process on how to achieve our Goals, that works! The important part was getting to the WHY I will achieve these Goals, and how utilizing it actually gets me there.
I really enjoyed, not only the presenter, but his commitment, his passion, and his determination to help teacher our fathers on how to be DADs.
YOU SHOULD SEE HIM
Jabari has a powerful message that i think gets through to our kids. After the presentation, I spoke with many of our students, and all of them were able to recall Jabari’s message. Jabari’s words stuck with them, and they will be able to take action.
Through Jabari’s sessions (he was) motivating them, and made them connect to how they might feel, given certain life situations.
Jabari is one of the best motivational speakers you will find. He pushes you to do better, and to be better. He is a positive person who always wants to see you do your best.
I think he did a GREAT job. [He] has A LOT of energy. He MOTIVATED the crowd. He gets us to think outside the box to see “what is our purpose?” He definitely watered our hearts in which brought words affirming, teaching, encouraging, and restoring the teachers.
